We once worked out the collective total experience of our directors and it was an extraordinarily large number of years and an even larger number of camps.

The Discoveries Leadership team comprises of 30+ enthusiastic people ranging in age from 16 – 40+.  Our leaders are highly experienced and trained in youth ministry and are all active youth leaders in their churches and are carefully cross-checked by the directors to ensure a high standard of leaders.  Many of our leaders are employed in child-related industries such as education.

Our leaders hail from Brisbane, Ipswich and Gold Coast mainly but some come from as far as Pittsworth, Armidale, Kingaroy, Bowen and Townsville. They attend a variety of Uniting Churches including Aitkenvale, Bayside, Broadwater Road, St David’s Coopers Plains, Pine Rivers, Pittsworth, Robina and many more.
